Tolu is the founder and Managing Director of Coliseum Development Ltd and Plexus Property Development Ltd with both companies operating in various segments of the Real estate industry. Since inception, Coliseum has been involved in mostly construction of commercial spaces such as schools, student hostels, lecture theaters and offices. Coliseum has amongst its clients intuitions such as Pan Atlantic University, UPDC plc, Nigerian Sugar Development Council, Bariga LCDA to mention a few.
Before founding Coliseum and later on Plexus, she worked first as an Investment Manager and then as Business Development Manager responsible for Deal Origination at GroFin Nigeria – a $540M specialist and impact driven SME financier headquartered in Mauritius and operating in 14 countries in Africa and the Middle East.
Prior to Joining GroFin, Tolu led the Corporate Finance and Investment Banking team at Ecobank Nigeria Plc participating in joint issuing house mandates raising in excess of $3Bn and 195Bn Naira for various companies on the Nigerian Stock Exchange and via private placements. Most notable of which was coordination the Multi Stock Exchange and Multi Currency capital raise for Ecobank Transnational Incorporated. Apart from fund raise, Tolu was also responsible for overseeing deal origination, regulatory interface and advisory on a few M&A transactions.
